(de-news.net) – The Federal Council confirmed the Growth Opportunities Act on Friday after there had already been a majority in the Bundestag. There had until recently been resistance from the CDU-CSU after an initial rejection in the Federal Council last year. The project includes stimuli for growth, innovation, but also research and development. Smaller companies and medium-sized businesses should benefit from tax simplifications. Finally, improvements are planned for loss carryforwards, for movable goods and housing for entrepreneurs. The advance VAT return will also be simplified for a limited time. A total of 3.2 billion euros in relief volume comes together within the package.
