(de-news.net) – The future of the Deutschlandticket for the upcoming year is once again uncertain. Ulrich Lange (CSU), Vice Chairman of the two Union parties, criticized the SPD-Green coalition for their failure to provide the requisite legislation, asserting that the previous coalition should have already resolved the matter.
Lange expressed willingness to approve the transfer of remaining funds from 2023 and 2024 to the following year to maintain the ticket price at 58 Euros. However, he unequivocally rejected the proposal to suspend the payment of 350 million Euros in regionalization funds in 2025 and compensate in 2026, deeming it unacceptable and detrimental to the Union’s trust.
